Week 11 NFL Power Rankings (32–17)
Week 11 unfolded with unexpected twists, significant victories, and several upsets that could significantly influence the playoff landscape. Various struggling teams finally exhibited some much-needed resilience, whereas others continued to falter. Here’s how the lower echelons of the league are positioned as we approach Thanksgiving week.
32. Tennessee Titans (1–8)
The Titans had a week off, which may represent their most satisfactory outcome in some time. Rookie quarterback Cameron Ward continues to endure hits behind an unstable offensive line, and the defense has been unable to maintain its composure late in games. Tennessee will utilize this bye week to regroup and concentrate on nurturing their young talent.
31. New Orleans Saints (2–8)
The Saints delivered an unexpected performance by defeating the Panthers 17–7, achieving only their second victory of the season. Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough showcased his development by passing for 282 yards and two touchdowns. Alvin Kamara appeared to regain his previous form, and this youthful offense executed a clean game.
30. New York Jets (2–7)
The Jets secured their second win with a 27–20 triumph over Cleveland. Breece Hall ignited the team with a long touchdown run, accompanied by two special teams scores. Justin Fields adeptly managed the game, and for the first time this season, New York displayed a sense of balance and confidence.
29. Las Vegas Raiders (2–7)
Las Vegas suffered a narrow defeat against the Broncos, losing 10–7 in a defensive struggle. Rookie running back Ashton Jeanty found the end zone early, but the offense subsequently vanished. Issues such as turnovers, penalties, and a lack of experience continue to characterize the Raiders' challenging season.
28. Cleveland Browns (2–7)
Cleveland’s offense once more fell short in the red zone during their defeat against the Jets. Rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw two touchdowns but was sacked six times throughout the game. The persistent struggles of the Browns’ offensive line are undermining commendable efforts by their defense.
27. New York Giants (2–8)
The Giants squandered a fourth-quarter lead, resulting in a 24–20 loss to the Bears. Rookie Jaxson Dart had an impressive game, amassing 242 passing yards and rushing for two touchdowns. However, issues with protection and late-game errors ultimately cost them a vital victory.
26. Miami Dolphins (3–7)
In a stunning upset, Miami triumphed over the Bills 30–13. De’Von Achane exploded for 174 rushing yards and two touchdowns, propelling the offense. The defense contributed by forcing two turnovers, and this victory has instilled a sense of hope for the Dolphins regarding a late-season resurgence.
25. Washington Commanders (3–7)
Washington suffered their fifth consecutive defeat, falling 44–22 to Detroit. Marcus Mariota made some plays early on but was unable to keep pace with the Lions’ scoring frenzy. The defense struggled significantly, and the team appears lost without Jayden Daniels, despite possessing strong offensive weapons.
24. Cincinnati Bengals (3–6)
Cincinnati enjoyed a much-needed bye week, arriving at a crucial moment. Joe Flacco has filled in competently, yet the team sorely misses Joe Burrow’s leadership. The Bengals must address their defensive shortcomings and offensive rhythm to salvage the remainder of the season.
23. Arizona Cardinals (3–6)
Arizona faced an overwhelming defeat against Seattle, losing 44–22. Trey McBride delivered a standout performance with 127 receiving yards and a touchdown, but the defense allowed too many explosive plays. The young talents of the Cardinals continue to shine, even as the team struggles to secure victories in critical moments.
22. Atlanta Falcons (3–6)
The Falcons lost 31–25 in overtime to the Colts in Berlin, Germany, yet they demonstrated signs of advancement. Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London collaborated for two touchdowns, keeping Atlanta competitive until the very end. Minor mistakes and missed tackles remain the crucial difference between narrow losses and actual victories.
21. Dallas Cowboys (3–5–1)
Dallas benefitted from a timely bye week to reassess after a string of inconsistent performances. The Cowboys’ defense must improve its communication and regain its focus. As the NFC playoff race intensifies, the Cowboys cannot afford to start slow out of the break.
20. Houston Texans (4–5)
The Texans orchestrated an exhilarating 36–29 comeback over Jacksonville. Davis Mills threw for 292 yards and led three touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Nico Collins dominated with 136 receiving yards, and Houston suddenly appears revitalized in the AFC South race.
19. Minnesota Vikings (4–5)
Minnesota lost 27–19 to the Ravens despite a strong start. J.J. McCarthy showcased commendable poise, throwing for 248 yards, but turnovers at critical junctures proved detrimental. The Vikings are making progress; however, they require their defense to finish games more effectively and for Justin Jefferson to elevate his performance.
18. Baltimore Ravens (4–5)
The Ravens claimed back-to-back victories after edging out the Vikings 27–19. Lamar Jackson demonstrated sharpness and health, throwing for a touchdown and spearheading two late scoring drives. Baltimore’s defense capitalized by forcing three turnovers and is beginning to look poised for a playoff run.
17. Carolina Panthers (5–5)
Carolina suffered a disappointing 17–7 home loss to the Saints. Rico Dowdle was restricted to only 53 rushing yards after his notable performance the preceding week. Bryce Young struggled under pressure, and the Panthers' playoff aspirations endured a significant setback.
Looking Ahead
A number of struggling teams, such as Miami and Houston, have begun to demonstrate signs of resurgence this week, while others like Carolina and Washington faltered at crucial moments. With the playoff picture tightening, every game holds immense significance, particularly for the mid-tier teams seeking to establish their legitimacy in the playoff contention.
